Annotated PI

We develop the CliffsNotes®* version of product package inserts. Although there is no substitute for reading the original document, ASERT distills and explains the salient points so your staff can concentrate on what's most important. Understanding a PI, whether it's your brand or that of your competitor, is essential to any training effort.

Article Reviews

ASERT can absorb and distill the essentials—the study objectives, hypothesis, study design, outcomes and statistics—in key papers. After the PI, scientific articles are the next important source of learning.

ASERT can also do a review of the literature and make arguments for or against a point of view depending upon the need.

CD/DVD/eLearning

Automated, self-paced learning is a valuable adjunct or alternative to live meetings. No matter what medium we use, our training and content development team is highly effective at developing digital interactive tools that facilitate learning that is practical and action-based. Our digital tools can capture data, provide updates, and feedback in a timely manner. Furthermore, we can capture user performance and generate reports that can help formulate any needed adjustments to our teaching strategy and tactics.

Collaborative Spaces

The web extends work in space and time. ASERT creates web spaces where geographically dispersed teams can work together asynchronously or at the same time. Various subcomponents can be added or subtracted on an as-needed basis. Our content management system allows client administrators to modify our collaborative spaces quickly and cost-effectively.

Curriculum Design Report

One of the upfront deliverables for any training or teaching project, our Curriculum Design Report lays out a roadmap-defining the challenge and learning objectives, identifying the learning strategy, organizing the various topics into an easy-to-understand integrated outline, and determining the resources (Q&A, exercises, follow-through programs) associated with each key subject. The Curriculum Design Document is a product of subject area knowledge, familiarity with the needs of the organization, a clear vision of the learning approach to be taken and a commitment to the best training and teaching methods.

DialogCoach™

DialogCoach™ is a proprietary personal-role-play system that guides sales representatives in the improvement of their skills in a low-risk, realistic environment that does not involve live prospects or customers. DialogCoach™ leverages the benefits and effectiveness of cyclical learning to improve the habits of your sales team to ensure that they deliver results. The system is flexible, allowing administrators to quickly update and change content based on user feedback. The DialogCoach™ system is an extremely powerful training tool and we at ASERT are very proud of it.

eCeptorships

With regulations increasingly limiting access to healthcare settings and increasing sensitivity to the costs associated with real-time preceptorships, remote or virtual tools have become an indispensable resource. ASERT can customize its eCeptorship platform to accommodate the desired level of personal interaction. But most important of all, because of our intimate knowledge of how various specialties function, ASERT can generate realistic scenarios that come as close as possible to the real thing.

Facilitation Skills Training

In the world of clinical trials and medical liaisons, there are specific challenges that require specific skills; especially the ability to facilitate. Facilitating is really active listening of the most intense kind with the ability to understand individual and group dynamics, managing them and guiding the group toward a desired goal. ASERT offers training programs in facilitation skills.

Gap Analysis Report

One of the first deliverables a client receives on one of our projects is a document that highlights the distance between aspiration and reality. ASERT identifies and characterizes the place between where an organization is and where it is going and we tell you how best to get there.

Module Development

At the core of effective training is the learning module; it contains the information the organization needs, along with the structure that enables rapid learning and application. But it is much more than that; we never develop a training module on its own. ASERT always takes into account the needs analysis, teaching strategy, the particular market, organizational purpose and personality and much, much more. Even when we are tactical, we are strategic.

Through effective data entry, module learning can be customized and easily updated to stay current with market trends. An effective team of writers and editors work in clinical practices ensuring content is always relevant for your sales representatives.

ASERT delivers modules in a variety of formats; paper, web, CD/DVD, case based, and more.

Mobile Devices

As new technologies come online and as users adopt and adapt to these innovations, we at ASERT incorporate them into our infrastructure and tactical offerings. Today, when more and more people work remotely and asynchronously, platforms such as iPods, PDAs, smart mobile phones, laptop computers that connect to WIFI networks or run CD/DVDs, are all relevant. And they must all be connected to databases, collaborative online spaces and informational centers. Each of these platforms has its own hardware, software, and human factors that must be understood and accommodated if they are to be maximally effective. ASERT has worked with and integrated all of these devices into its training and communications programs.

Needs Assessment Report

A Needs Assessment Report is one of the first deliverables that ASERT provides on a training or education project. What makes our report unique is our commitment to the concept of a root-cause analysis; an approach that addresses the underlying cause of a problem, not the just the symptoms. The Needs Assessment Report becomes the foundation upon which our learning strategy is built.

Online University

A comprehensive web-based, informational platform that centers all of the resources needed for a particular initiative or program. Stakeholders can login from anywhere at anytime and easily find the right training-educational, background, and follow-through materials they need. The University is designed for intuitive navigation so users spend their time learning the subject matter and being productive rather than having to negotiate a complicated online space.

Presentation Skills Training

Some people are born presenters. Most people are not and have to learn. The ASERT system of training teaches these important skills quickly with an emphasis on practice and quick application in real circumstances. Presentation Skills Training is particularly useful for physicians (especially KOLs), nurses, pharmacists, as well as sales representatives, medical liaisons and trainers.

Root Cause Analysis

This is an ASERT proprietary process through which we identify the actual cause of a problem rather than its symptoms. It is not always easy to read such a report and have a discussion about it, but it is necessary if the solution we develop is to succeed.

Rx Advantage™ Selling Skills

The RxAdvantage™ selling skills process provides the foundation for today's healthcare sales professionals to create a meaningful dialogue with their valued customers. Using a combination of a needs-based selling and a relationship model, RxAdvantage™ develops the skills that make pharmaceutical selling effective and comfortable for both the representative and customer. Through a well developed follow-up program and an extensive sales management coaching course, RxAdvantage™, continues to develop the skills long after the initial program ends. Whether you are creating a selling culture for the first time or redefining an existing sales culture, our process will lead to a successful roll out of the RxAdvantage™ program.

Training Slide Decks

Designed as a trainer teaching tool or as a self-learning device, our training slide decks are the product of four disciplines; 1) training-teaching strategy, 2) therapeutic-market-organizational knowledge, 3) content development, and 4) information visualization and graphic design. It takes years to develop expertise in each discipline. Our strength in these disciplines makes ASERT what it is, a training and education company committed to excellence and dedicated to achieving the outcomes you want.

Training Web Site Design

If you think of a web site as a system, we at ASERT excel in understanding, building and maintaining systems. Our systems deal with collecting, organizing, imparting and making information the basis for action. Our training web site design is informed by the principles of 1) preparing the learner; focusing and motivating, 2) presentation of new information or review of prior learning, 3) practice; action learning by practicing new skills, and 4) performance; real world application of learned skills to the learner's job.

Virtual Patient Case Studies

The case study method works in medical, law and business schools. It is the perfect tool for getting a learner up to speed without actually seeing real patients or experiencing actual situations. ASERT has developed virtual patient case studies for distance and asynchronous learning that are as close to real as possible. They are surrounded by a process that reinforces learning and recall.

Web/Teleconferencing

ASERT has a soup-to-nuts web/teleconferencing service that will handle an event from pre-meeting communications to content and presentation development, event management, as well as post-event follow-through. The services are myriad and comprehensive, and clients can pick and choose the ones they want.

Workshop Development

Workshops must be engaging, accessible, and real-world. ASERT has been developing and running workshops for years. We're very good at it. And participants leave them with newly honed skills that they are eager to use in the marketplace.
